We provide a unique blend of leadership skills with a culture that embodies our core values and the opportunity to work in a professional environment. The Parts Counter Person is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians in identifying, ordering, and purchasing automotive parts. In this position, your responsibilities include selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and, if necessary, on shelves.

Parts Counter Person Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting technicians in selecting parts
  • Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges

  • Respond to customer parts & information requests

  • Answer phone calls
  • Handle customer transactions, including invoicing and payment processing
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and assist with stock orders
  • Ensure correct parts are pulled and delivered to the service department in a timely manner
  • Receive and stock incoming parts and shipments
  • Maintain cleanliness of workplace
  • Keep up with training
  • Follow all dealership policies and procedures

Parts Counter Person Requirements:

  • Good computer skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Previous automotive parts experience (preferred but not necessary
  • Team-oriented mind set
  • Attention to detail
  • High School Diploma (preferred but not necessary)

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Some Saturdays
