How does a Parts Manager typically collaborate with other departments within an automotive dealership?
What is the difference between Parts Manager vs Service Advisor?
| Aspect | Parts Manager | Service Advisor |
|---|---|---|
| Primary Role | Oversees parts inventory, procurement, and distribution | Communicates with customers about service needs and estimates |
| Required Certifications | None specific, often automotive or dealership experience | Customer service or automotive service certifications |
| Work Environment | Parts department, inventory management | Service department, customer interaction |
| Industry Usage | Automotive, heavy machinery, fleet services | Automotive repair shops, dealerships |
