Job description

Join RS Integrated Supply, a leading global provider of supply chain services, as an Inventory Specialist. This on-site role is responsible for supporting daily storeroom and inventory operations, including receiving, stocking, issuing, cycle counting, material movement, and customer support. The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring materials are available when needed, and helping support a smooth and efficient supply chain for the client. This role will have a strong focus on material movement, including transporting materials from the dock to storerooms and between buildings and storerooms.

Shift Requirement:
This position follows a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule and requires flexibility in shift assignment.

  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Candidates must be willing to be assigned to either shift at the time of hire based on business needs. Once assigned, employees will remain on that shift. We have 2 openings for each position.

Additional Flexibility:
Employees must also be willing to provide occasional coverage on alternate shifts as needed to support business operations, including covering for absences.

Compensation: $23-$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety and security procedures and report concerns promptly
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy reporting
  • Receive and process purchased materials, verifying quantities and details against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Stock and organize materials in the storeroom to support efficient inventory control and accessibility
  • Issue materials to clients, including staging, kitting, tagging, and order fulfillment as needed
  • Transport materials from the dock to storerooms and between buildings as needed
  • Support inventory management activities by tracking usage, monitoring stock levels, and helping prevent stockouts
  • Deliver high-level customer service to internal and external clients
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and standard operating procedures
  • Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and audit-ready
  • Assist with special projects and other inventory-related tasks as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification; training will be provided
  • Strong interpersonal and phone skills
  • Basic computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management systems
