Job description

Are you looking to grow your HVAC career with a company that values training, development, and opportunity? Astar is seeking a motivated HVAC Parts Installer to join our Residential Service team.

This position is ideal for an entry-level to intermediate HVAC professional with field experience who is ready to build their technical skills while serving homeowners throughout the DFW area.

What You'll Do

  • Install and replace common HVAC components, including:
  • Capacitors
  • Motors
  • Contactors
  • Relays
  • Thermostats
  • Other residential HVAC service parts
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services on residential HVAC systems
  • Conduct system inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs
  • Maintain accurate service documentation
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the ASTAR brand
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Note: This position does not include full HVAC equipment installations or change-outs.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of HVAC field experience preferred
  • Residential HVAC service or maintenance experience preferred
  • Current Texas TDLR HVAC Technician Registration required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and customer service skills
