Job description

Berglund Ford Mazda is seeking an Experienced Parts Counter Person to join our team in Salem, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive parts and excellent customer service skills, helping ensure efficient and accurate parts sales and support to both our customers and service department.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts.
  • Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s inventory system.
  • Maintain parts inventory by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to both walk-in and phone customers.
  • Work closely with technicians and service advisors to fulfill parts requests timely.
  • Ensure the parts counter area is organized, clean, and well-stocked.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a parts counter specialist or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
