Join the Dahl CDJR team in Stevens Point, WI as a Parts Counterperson! In this role, you’ll use your customer service and organizational skills to help technicians and customers find the correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance needs. You’ll play an important role in keeping the service department running efficiently while providing knowledgeable and friendly support. Previous automotive parts experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate!

Main responsibilities and contributions:

 
  • Assist guests in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles.
  • Create, update, and manage purchase orders accurately.
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure the correct parts are available to complete vehicle repairs efficiently.
  • Use manufacturer parts catalogs and DMS systems to identify the correct parts, availability, and pricing.
  • Process, review, and close open invoices in a timely manner.
  • Provide responsive, accurate, and efficient service to all internal departments.
  • Deliver a friendly, professional experience to every guest, both over the phone and at the parts counter.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
