Overview
The Parts Clerk provides key support to the sales team in the Parts department. The Clerk will maintain organized systems and paperwork; monitor and submit invoices, rebates and logs with correct coding; order parts and write SOR lines; assist at the front counter and in the Warehouse; and will complete projects as directed by the Parts Manager. The best fit for this role is a person who is detail and task oriented and is also able to create relationships with both internal and external customers in order to contribute to TEC's promise of being the Best Business Partner.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all RGM logs and applicable paperwork.
  • Enter and track parts orders in ERP/ADP/CDK systems for select vendors. Create and maintain standard operating procedures for ordering specific parts lines.
  • Monitor invoices for proper freight charges and part costing. File discrepancies and rebates.
  • Maintain contact with corporate parts staff for SOR's and stock assisting in the maintenance of all SOR lines. Write SOR lines for select vendors assisting in the maintenance of all SOR lines.
  • Support Parts manager and Parts Staff with various day to day duties and special projects
  • Complete accounting duties including coding and filing as directed by supervisor.
  • Act as a back-up cashier to cover breaks or absences
  • Complete cycle counts in parts Warehouse.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.Administrative experience
  • Cash handling
  • Ability to complete tasks in orderly and timely fashion
  • Ability to maintain organization and patience in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • General knowledge of parts inventory and vendor lines

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $19.46 to $24.32.
