Job description

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, assembles or installs routine types of mechanical components such as machine fabricated parts, assembly of hardware and supplies, and electronic assemblies. Sets up and operates various machinery, heat bending table, drill press, routers. May perform fastening and bonding operations, and may use a variety of hand tools incidental to the work to produce plastics units and products to customer specifications according to blueprints, sketches, schematics or other visual aids.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position:

  1. Must have good communication skills in English both oral and written.
  2. High School graduate or equivalent.
  3. Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
  4. Ability to work closely with others
  5. Experience in some type of assembly and fabrication process
  6. Experience with various hand and pneumatic tools
  7. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  8. Cut, route, machine, heat bend, fabricate plastic material from drawings and sketches.

Essential Functions:

  1. Pre and final assembly of parts (mechanical and electrical) and minor machine operation.
  2. Insure quality control standards are maintained while meeting production schedules.
  3. Report accurate hours and quantities of parts completed in ERP system.

10 hour shift Monday through Thursday – 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Hourly position: Overtime as required
