Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.25

Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing mechanical equipment according to engineering specifications, customer requirements, and bill-of-material (BOM) documentation. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies in accordance with bill-of-material (BOM) requirements
  • Perform functional testing on mechanical assemblies to verify performance and quality
  • Test-assemble equipment to meet customer and internal division criteria
  • Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards and procedures
  • Apply proper settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly and test tools
  • Inspect completed assemblies and prepare products for shipment
  • Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times
