Job description

Weave is seeking a highly motivated and driven Senior Business Development Manager, Medical to join our Strategic Partnerships team. In this role, you will focus on expanding Weave's presence within the medical vertical by identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that create revenue growth, unlock key workflows, and increase the value Weave delivers to medical practices.
The Strategic Partnerships team helps Weave grow across key verticals, including Dental, Optometry, Veterinary, and Medical. This role will be the primary business development owner for opportunities within the Medical vertical, working closely with internal teams and external partners to source, evaluate, and execute partnerships that support Weave's growth strategy.
Reports to: VP of Strategic Partnerships
Location: This role will be based out of our Lehi, UT HQ and will be primarily in-office, 4-5 days per week.
What You Will Own
  • Identify and source new business development opportunities within the Medical vertical
  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential partners, including medical software platforms, EHR/EMR partners, marketplace partners, referral partners, reseller partners, and other strategic relationships
  • Develop recommendations for revenue-generating opportunities by aligning internal teams around market needs, partner fit, and strategic value
  • Grow Weave's Medical partner ecosystem and support marketplace initiatives specific to the vertical
  • Explore opportunities to expand Weave's TAM within Medical and adjacent specialty areas
  • Measure partner performance and identify opportunities to deepen or expand existing Medical partnerships
  • Coordinate communication between internal and external stakeholders to drive partnership outcomes
  • Help inform build vs. partner decisions for workflows and integrations that matter most to medical practices
  • Identify partnerships that unlock key workflows for Medical customers and strengthen the value proposition of both Weave and its partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with executives across the Medical partner landscape and potential strategic customers
  • Lead cross-functional partnership initiatives, including scope, timelines, dependencies, milestones, stakeholder engagement, and reporting
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategic sales, product partnerships, or a similar role
  • Experience working in or supporting the Medical vertical, ideally with medical practices, EHR/EMR platforms, healthcare SaaS, or practice management software
  • SaaS experience preferred
  • Proven ability to develop partner relationships, evaluate business opportunities, and execute partnership plans
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build business cases and make clear recommendations based on market opportunity, partner fit, and revenue potential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
