Job description

We're looking for a high-energy hustler who wants to empower restaurants to build stronger businesses. Are you competitive and ambitious? Do you enjoy talking to people and solving problems?
As a Restaurant Partnerships Associate, you will identify restaurant partners in your territory, set up meetings with the decision makers, and provide them an overview of the MealPal value proposition. You will build strong partnerships with local restaurants to help their businesses grow.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Bring new merchants on to the MealPal platform! You'll help restaurants understand the game-changing value of our service
โ€ข Identify restaurant owners, GMs and catering managers. Set up meetings with these decision makers and build relationships with them
โ€ข Become an expert in identifying challenges that restaurant owners face, and help them solve these challenges using MealPal
โ€ข Partner with the best restaurants in your territory. Close new partnerships consistently at or above quota level
โ€ข Create a high volume of touch points with prospects daily through calls, emails, and drop-ins
โ€ข Build a pipeline of qualified leads and drive the full sales cycle to attain new business from merchants
Requirements:
โ€ข Able to meet with restaurants in person in NYC
โ€ข Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience in a closing or lead generating sales role
โ€ข Can-do attitude; relentless hustle; ability to get things done
โ€ข Passionate, ambitious, competitive personality. Not afraid of rejection
โ€ข Love to talk to people and build relationships over the phone
โ€ข Ability to adapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet
โ€ข Restaurant industry or hospitality is nice to have
โ€ข Must love small businesses and be passionate about helping them grow!
โ€ข Work daily from our office in Midtown Manhattan
