Account Manager

Regular Full-Time Milwaukee, WI, US

30+ days ago Requisition ID: 2570

Join a team that has been powering growth and an outstanding reputation for over 60 years!

Etna Supply is a leading wholesale distributor of heating, mechanical, plumbing, underground, municipal, and fire protection products across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Built on strong financial principles and a commitment to partnership, we foster teamwork, continuous improvement, and a culture grounded in fairness, integrity, and respect. With four lines of business and two subsidiaries, we’re built for long-term stability.

What sets us apart is how we differentiate through relationships, expertise, and service, not just products.

What We Offer:

  • Company vehicle provided (gas card included)
  • Competitive compensation + bonus and commission opportunities.
  • Company credit card issued
  • Robust benefits package
  • 401(k) with company match

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a relationship-driven, detail-oriented Account Manager to join our sales team, someone who thrives at the intersection of people, projects, and performance.

This isn’t just a sales role, it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that values culture, collaboration, and differentiated service. You’ll partner with contractors to support hydronic, mechanical, and plumbing systems, helping bring large-scale construction projects to life from bid through completion.

From uncovering opportunities to winning deals and building lasting partnerships, you’ll play a key role in driving growth in your region.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow customer relationships within your territory
  • Identify and pursue bid opportunities alongside our quoting teams
  • Follow up with purpose and persistence to win business
  • Deliver responsive, knowledgeable support to customer partners
  • Represent Etna Supply at industry events, job sites, and client meetings
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with vendors, engineers, contractors, and internal teams

What You Bring

  • Appreciation for a team-oriented culture and a desire to contribute to what sets us apart
  • Proven sales experience (hydronics, mechanical, or plumbing strongly preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
  • Self-starter mindset with the initiative to take ownership and run with it
  • Experience with systems like Eclipse or Phocas is a plus
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred; proven sales experience is more critical to success in this role

What the Role Looks Like Day-to-Day

  • A mix of field time, job site visits, and team interaction, not a desk-bound role
  • Customer visits to strengthen partnerships, drive business, and stay engaged in the market
  • Working in a variety of environments, from desks to dirt piles (yes, really)
  • Active, on-your-feet role with walking, standing, and lifting-up to 50 lbs.
  • A moderate noise setting with a strong focus on safety and awareness
  • Completion of standard pre-employment requirements is required.
