Pediatric Hospitalist
Valley View Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician to join our integrated pediatric program serving families across Western Colorado.
This opportunity is structured within our Inpatient Weighted (IPW) model, designed for pediatricians who enjoy acute pediatric care, newborn medicine, and hospital-based responsibilities. Physicians in this model spend the majority of their clinical responsibilities working as a pediatric hospitalist covering the normal newborn nursery, level 2 nursery, and a small inpatient pediatric service at Valley View Hospital, while very occasionally participating in pediatric outpatient clinic to maintain continuity and team support.
You will join a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality pediatric care within a sustainable, physician-centered practice environment.
This role is ideal for a pediatrician who values inpatient pediatric and newborn medicine, acute care and hospital-based practice, and working within a flexible, team-oriented pediatric model.
Compensation & Benefits include a $270,000–$300,000 base salary (commensurate with experience), bonus opportunity based on partner-developed quality criteria, sign-on/commencement bonus and relocation support, comprehensive benefits package including retirement and CME support, and leadership and program development opportunities available.

Qualifications include being board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics, current PALS and NRP certifications, current competency and experience in caring for well and sick newborns and pediatric inpatients, willingness to cover occasional outpatient clinic shifts, commitment to family-centered, relationship-based care, and interest in rural/community healthcare delivery.
