We're seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth across our Displays business, supporting strategic vendor partners including ViewSonic and Sharp. This is an opportunity to own a national territory, build meaningful partner relationships, uncover growth opportunities, and help customers accelerate their adoption of innovative display and collaboration solutions. Location: Preferred Buffalo, NY (Remote, National Field Role)
Travel: Approximately 25% domestic travel

Position Summary

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving category growth through strategic business development, partner engagement, and solution selling. This role leverages market insights, partner data, and customer needs to identify opportunities within existing accounts and expand market share across the Displays portfolio. Success in this position requires strong relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Working closely with reseller partners, vendors, sales teams, and leadership, you will develop and execute growth strategies that increase revenue, strengthen partner engagement, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for the Displays category, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, market penetration, and partner engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with reseller partners, vendor stakeholders, and key customer decision-makers across the U.S.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategic partner relationships.
  • Utilize market intelligence, customer insights, and sales data to drive informed business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Position complete display and collaboration solutions that address customer business needs and deliver value beyond individual products.
  • Conduct business reviews, sales presentations, and strategic planning sessions with partners and vendors.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, product management, and vendor teams to execute category objectives and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Ingram Micro's Xvantage platform by identifying insights and opportunities that strengthen partner success.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning activities.
  • Travel regularly to engage with partners, customers, and vendors and strengthen business relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, account management, channel sales, or strategic sales; or 4+ years of technology or distribution industry experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated success achieving revenue, business development, or sales growth objectives.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience analyzing business performance and using data to make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% domestically.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within technology distribution, channel sales, reseller ecosystems, or vendor management environments.
  • Experience with display, collaboration, workplace technology, AV, or related solution portfolios.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $58,000.00 - $98,600.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
