Wealth Management -Relationship Manager

LOCATED in Nashville, TN

We're looking for an experienced wealth management professional who thrives on delivering exceptional client service while keeping advisors focused on what they do best-building relationships and growing the business.

This is much more than a traditional client service role. You'll become the trusted operational partner to one or more financial advisors, serving as the primary point of contact for many client needs while coordinating every step of the client journey-from onboarding new relationships to ongoing investment servicing. The ideal candidate enjoys taking ownership, solving problems before they arise, and creating a seamless experience for both clients and advisors.

What You'll Do

Own the Client Experience

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive, high-touch service throughout the relationship.
  • Manage advisor email inboxes and proactively respond to client requests.
  • Build trusted relationships by communicating clearly, anticipating needs, and following through on every detail.
  • Attend client meetings when appropriate and assist with follow-up activities.

Lead New Client Onboarding

  • Guide new clients through the onboarding process from beginning to end.
  • Coordinate account openings, transfers, insurance applications, and required documentation.
  • Partner with internal departments and custodians to ensure every account is opened accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve roadblocks before they impact the client experience.

Support Investment Operations

  • Execute client service requests including money movement, beneficiary updates, account maintenance, and other investment-related transactions.
  • Coordinate with advisors and operations teams to ensure timely execution of client requests.
  • Monitor open cases and proactively move work toward completion.
  • Help advisors stay on track toward AUM, premium, and new client goals.

Keep Advisors Organized

  • Prepare advisors for meetings by ensuring outstanding items are addressed.
  • Maintain detailed CRM notes and task management.
  • Coordinate review meetings, scheduling, and ongoing client follow-up.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve workflows and increase efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of experience supporting financial advisors within a wealth management, RIA, broker-dealer, or financial planning firm.
  • Experience onboarding new investment clients from start to finish.
  • Experience processing investment account service requests and account maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of investment operations and client service workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Series 7 and 63 (or willingness to obtain if not currently active)
  • Experience with account transfers, money movement, trading support, and investment servicing
  • Experience working directly with advisors and high-net-worth clients
