Job description

Job Title: Employee Relations Partner (Global People Ops Automation & Compliance)
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Employee Relations Partner (Global People Ops Automation & Compliance) to join our People Operations team. In this role, you will coordinate our global automation efforts while leading critical compliance initiatives and project deliverables. You will develop and roll out robust frameworks that drive efficiency, consistency, and compliance across our global HR operations.
This is a high-impact strategic role requiring deep expertise in hire-to-retire processes and modern HR technology. You will serve as the primary bridge between People Operations and cross-functional partners-including IT, Legal, Privacy, Security, Payroll, and Finance-translating business requirements into scalable, AI-enabled solutions that create frictionless employee interactions. If you excel at streamlining complex HR workflows and governing global operational standards, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Process Enablement
• Workflow Optimization: Coordinate across global People Operations teams to identify processes ripe for streamlining, standardization, and automation.
• Future-State Design: Facilitate workshops to map future-state process designs and partner with IT teams by delivering clear business requirements for AI-native and automated solutions.
• Technology Enablement: Champion digital adaptation, leveraging modern HR platforms, case management tools, and AI automation to eliminate manual overhead and scale operations.
Compliance, Governance & Documentation
• Audit Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact and ongoing lead for global audit, regulatory compliance, and risk management requirements within People Operations.
• Frameworks & Governance: Develop standard operating procedures, comprehensive process documentation, and knowledge management frameworks to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Center of Excellence (COE) leads to implement evolved ways of working and ongoing governance structures.
Strategic Liaison & Project Activation
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the strategic voice of People Ops in enterprise-wide initiatives involving IT, Legal, Security, and Finance from inception through execution.
• Priority Alignment: Serve as a central funnel for People Ops technology and project priorities, ensuring seamless communication and successful project outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: 6+ years of progressive professional experience in People Operations, HR systems management, employee relations, or global HR compliance.
• Process & Automation Expertise:
oDeep, end-to-end understanding of global hire-to-retire processes and corresponding audit/compliance responsibilities.
oDemonstrated ability to deep-dive legacy workflows, streamline underlying processes, and overlay AI/technology solutions.
• Technical Mastery:
oProven experience configuring and managing Workday business processes.
oHands-on familiarity with enterprise case management tools (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow).
oExposure to modern AI automation platforms and scripting/development tools.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional stakeholder management, cross-functional communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Attributes
• Direct experience managing global compliance requirements across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Advanced background in designing and implementing AI-driven HR ticketing or case management optimizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
