The Facilities Operations Manager 2 will join the team at University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, Ohio, where they will oversee daily facilities operations, lead and develop staff, and ensure the seamless execution of essential services.

This leadership role is critical to maintaining a high-performing, fully integrated facilities management program that supports a safe, efficient, and exceptional healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

In this operational leadership role, you’ll oversee and optimize facilities and engineering services to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance across all systems and teams. You’ll manage everything from mechanical systems and maintenance workflows to budgeting, safety programs, and client relationships, all while developing staff and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. • Hands-on knowledge of CMMS/work order systems and experience driving operational improvements through data and reporting.
• A proactive, safety-first mindset with the skillset to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

• Related Experience: 3-5 years
