We are looking for a lead-from-the-front leader who can develop and execute an effective channel sales strategy, one that supports Alteryx' growth requirements. This role will be responsible for the expansion of our channel business as well as manage the partnership with our DMRs.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead channel sales team to drive incremental revenue with our value add reseller partners
  • Lead, inspire, and motivate the channel sales team to help them achieve their sales targets
  • Develop and execute an effectively strategy for recruiting, onboarding and developing high performing VAR partners
  • Ensure the channel sales teams forecast is accurately reflected in Salesforce
  • Develop strong relationships with key VAR partners and ensure they are committed certifications, demand generation and delivering partner initiated opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with key regional Alteryx sales leaders and provide them with insight into the impact the channel business is having on Alteryx' overall business
  • Be an expert in policies and structure of Alteryx partner program
  • Ensure processes are put in place to regularly monitor progress of channel sales team and top partners and implement action plans to ensure achievement of objectives
  • Manage and resolve escalations allowing the team to stay focused on sales
  • Build and promote a cohesive, partner/customer-centric team with strong internal relationships

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience (people management) in either Direct Sales or Channel Sales ideally with an enterprise software company and/or data/analytics software vendor
  • Track record driving business in a dynamic working environment
  • Ability to intelligently recruit and develop top performing Associates
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively present to all levels of management
  • Understanding of Salesforce.com, Clari and other key systems
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies including senior level executives, legal, finance, support, sales, and marketing experts.
  • Relentlessly positive outlook, high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business
  • Excellent planning and change management skills

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The base salary range for this role in the United States is $110,000-$140,000 with On-Target-Earnings range of $185,000-230,000 (uncapped, plus options)
In addition to base pay and commission eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as:
  • A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses
  • An annual $200 home office reimbursement
