Receptionist – Part-Time

Location: Lakewood Ranch, FL

Pay:$15/hour

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25-30 hours per week with rotating Friday/Saturday shifts


About the Role

Ad-Vance Talent Solutions is seeking a friendly, dependableReceptionist to support a professional office in Lakewood Ranch. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is comfortable answering phones and handling front desk responsibilities, and has basic clerical and computer skills.

The Receptionist will serve as a first point of contact for callers and visitors while also assisting with light data entry and general office support.


Schedule

Candidates must be available to work the following schedule:

  • Monday and Tuesday: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Wednesday and Thursday: 3-8 p.m.
  • Every other Friday and Saturday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday shifts rotate every other week.

Applicants should have flexibility to work the full schedule, including the rotating Friday and Saturday shifts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet visitors and respond to front desk inquiries
  • Direct calls and inquiries to the appropriate staff members
  • Provide general information and assistance to callers and visitors
  • Perform light data entry and update information accurately
  • Assist with basic clerical and administrative tasks
  • Maintain an organized and professional front desk area
  • Use Microsoft Office programs for routine office tasks
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Assist staff with additional office support duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least one year of clerical, receptionist or front desk experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable answering phones and interacting with the public
  • Basic data entry and computer skills
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to work the required schedule, including rotating Friday and Saturday shifts

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is personable, professional and comfortable being the first point of contact for an office. We're looking for someone who can communicate clearly, provide excellent customer service, handle routine clerical duties accurately and maintain a welcoming front desk environment.
