Status: Part-time/Hourly
Summary:
The Staff Assistant, Social Media will be responsible for programming, copywriting, and collaboration on content ideation with our creative team, in support of the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and associated brands (International Channels, Miami Dolphins Cheer, Dolphins Cancer Challenge, Miami Dolphins Academy, etc.). The ideal candidate is a team-first self-starter with a deep understanding of how people consume and engage with social content, an eye for detail, and who stays up-to-date on emerging platforms, industry trends, and best practices.
Location:
  • This is a part-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL

Responsibilities:
  • Lead on emerging platforms, primarily focused on ideating, creating and posting content to TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and Threads
  • Assist with strategy and daily publishing on other platforms, including X, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Work with Social Media Manager on daily copywriting and posting to platforms as needed
  • Responsible for short-form social content editing, including mini mic's, locker room content, community events, etc.
  • Lead on community management across social channels, actively engaging and responding to followers, monitoring direct messages, and brainstorming ways to increase social conversation
  • Monitoring & research of current social trends, fan conversations, and off-field narratives to assist with tentpole ideations and identifying new storytelling opportunities
  • Lead on Emplifi content tagging, as well as labeling and organizing social content on Dropbox
  • Responsible for identifying new opportunities, platforms, and tools to expand our brand's presence
  • Provide social coverage at player community events, gameday, training camp, and other events as needed.
  • Understand and follow social policies for the NFL

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree and relevant work experience
  • Self-starter and a forward thinker with a desire to collaborate in a team-based culture
  • Knowledge of and passion for the National Football League
  • Ability to work with different departments and multi-task to prioritize social requests
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge base of social media platforms
  • Openness to work long days, holidays, and weekends, to be on-call out of traditional working hours
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact professionally
  • Makes decisions in best interests of brand and organization
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative suite and other graphic & video editing software
