Are you interested in Making a Difference in the Lives of Local Youth? Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) is Now Hiring to fill Seasonal SUMMER Positions for Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) at our AB Hart Elementary Summer Club- YDPs assist with youth and teen programming at our clubs.
We are looking for Professionals, Educators, College Students and other Friendly people with a passion for working with youth in supervised, fun and safe environments. Our YDPs are responsible for planning and implementing appropriate program activities; tracking, promoting and encouraging program participation; assisting with membership recruitment, and, of course, having FUN!
Summer Positions are generally Part-time, Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week. June through Mid-August. - Available Shifts are approximately 8:00 am-12:00 pm & 12:00 pm- 4:00 pm (*** Full 8-hour shifts MAY be available!)
Starting pay rate is $ 17 per hour. (If you are interested: Mon-Fri, part-time after-school positions may be available to continue after Summer!)
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to support an exciting, caring and enjoyable educational environment.
  • Team player who can collaborate with peers.
  • Provide guidance and be a Role Model.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with youth preferred.
  • Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.
  • 18 years of age with a High School Diploma
