X-Ray Technician

Poughkeepsie, NY | Part-Time | $35-$40 per Hour

The IMA Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our team, home-based out of our Poughkeepsie, NY office. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of three days per week — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM — with occasional travel between our Poughkeepsie and Middletown locations.

In this role, you will perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and support physicians by providing high-quality imaging services in a professional healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment while following all safety protocols.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support medical evaluations.
  • Travel as needed between Poughkeepsie and Middletown locations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with applicable certification/licensure.
  • Completion of clinical externship training.
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between Poughkeepsie and Middletown.
