Job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated licensed X-ray Technician to join our orthopedic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous orthopedic experience preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Perform X-ray examinations on patients while adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures based on patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical history and imaging results.
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Assist in various imaging modalities such as C-arm procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures to patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort during examinations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging technologies.
Experience
  • Licensed radiologic technologist
  • Proven experience as an X-ray Technician within a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and diagnostic evaluation processes is essential.
  • Experience in orthopedics is desirable.
