We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Kaua'i, O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i island. We also offer restoration services for various issues, including water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation on Oahu. -Employment Type: Part-time
-Position: Custodian
-Location: Oahu (Honolulu, HI 96819)
-Schedule: Friday: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Sunday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (16 hours weekly) 
-Hourly rate: $18.00

-Key Responsibilities:

-Capable of performing tasks in any type of weather.

-Maintain the cleanliness of common areas within the building: Sweep, mop, dust, wipe down, and sanitize surfaces; empty trash receptacles; and dispose of waste in the designated areas.

-Commitment to maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants is a vital quality for this role.

-Clean office, storage, and docking areas.

-Ensure restrooms are fully stocked, clean and sanitized.

-Utilize a vacuum for indoor cleaning.

-Operate a forklift once HBM training has been successfully completed.

-Demonstrate the ability to operate: A pressure washing machine, leaf blower, ride-on and/or ride-behind machine.

-Attention to detail.

-Willingness to learn is essential.

-Restock supplies as needed.

-Show the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

-Perform other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor

-Skills/Qualifications:

-Must pass HBM prescreen check

-High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

-Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or related fields preferred, but not required

-Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to provide training

-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English

-Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is preferred

-Strong public relations and communication skills

-Capable of performing basic manual labor, cleaning common areas, frequently lifting, pushing, pressing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 30 lbs. (up to 50 lbs.), reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking up and down stairways, using elevators, climbing ladders, and standing throughout shifts.
