Course: Renewable Energy & Lab

This course provides students with a strong foundation in core areas of renewable energy. Students learn the main sources of renewable energy and their enabling role in power systems. The course demonstrates the positive impact of renewable energy on environment. In addition, the course offers in-depth coverage of different renewable energy sources, including concentrated solar power, photovoltaic, and wind energy. The integration of the renewable energy sources to the consumer's network is detailed. The course also demonstrates applications of power electronics.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

Preferred: Doctorate in Electrical Engineering

Minimum: Master's in Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience
