Wellness Nurse, Part-time- Atlantic and Cape May County
Part-time (15 hours/week)
Vitality Catholic Healthcare Services is looking for a registered nurse with a vocation to serve seniors. In this unique position, you will be located onsite at Diocesan senior housing buildings.
As a wellness nurse, you will be responsible for promoting health and well-being of senior housing residents using assessment, education and coordination skills as a means to implement plans to help seniors remain as safe, healthy and independent in their own homes while meeting one on one with residents and through workshops and trainings.
Requirements: Registered Nurse, (Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred). Current license in New Jersey and CPR certification. Minimum 3 years of experience in health care, preferably community setting, care coordination, discharge planning, home care or case management. Highly organized and ability to work autonomously. Demonstrated skills in assessment, leadership, communication, counseling/consultation, problem solving and teaching. Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish).
Rate: $40/hour
