Job Description

We are looking for a part time cook for our assisted living home. Shift will be Sat and Sun, 6 AM to 2 PM.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assemble dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Take customer orders and serve food.
  • Maintain consistent portioning and presentation to uphold quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist with prep tasks as needed to support overall kitchen operations.
  • Assist with dishes, sweeping, mopping of the floors, restocking of fridges as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of working in a kitchen as a line cook.
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently while taking direction.
  • A genuine passion for food and commitment to delivering high quality food and service.
  • Long term care experience will be considered an asset.
