Description: Position Summary

The Part-Time Weekend Clubhouse Custodian is responsible for keeping the clubhouse clean, sanitary, safe, and ready for weekend use. This role performs routine custodial tasks, monitors high-use areas during events, replenishes supplies and reports facility or safety concerns. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while providing courteous service to members, guests, vendors, and staff.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, meeting rooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned clubhouse spaces.

· Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, spot-clean carpets, wipe surfaces, and clean glass doors, mirrors, fixtures, and high-touch areas.

· Empty trash and recycling receptacles, replace liners, and move waste to designated collection areas.

· Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and other restroom or custodial supplies.

· Monitor high-use areas during weekend clubhouse activities and respond promptly to spills, messes, and other cleaning needs.

· Perform light exterior cleanup near entrances, patios, and surrounding amenity areas, including litter removal.

· Maintain clean, orderly, and properly stocked custodial closets and storage areas.

· Use cleaning products, and equipment safely and in accordance with instructions and workplace procedures.

· Inspect assigned areas for hazards, damage, plumbing concerns, lighting issues, or other maintenance needs and report them promptly.

· Secure assigned areas, check doors, and follow opening or closing procedures when directed.

· Interact courteously with members, guests, vendors, and staff while minimizing disruption to clubhouse activities.

· Perform occasional deep cleaning and other related duties as assigned.


Requirements: Minimum Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.· Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, hospitality, or facility-cleaning experience preferred.· Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling is preferred.· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, product labels, checklists, and safety procedures.· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete assigned tasks during a shift.· Dependable attendance, punctuality, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.· Professional and courteous communication skills.· Reliable transportation and consistent weekend availability.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

· Regularly stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, crouch, kneel, push, and pull.· Lift, carry, or position equipment, furniture, supplies, and materials weighing up to 30 pounds.· Move tables, chairs, boxes, trash containers, and custodial equipment using safe lifting practices and available assistance.· Use step stools or ladders and operate standard custodial tools and equipment as authorized.· Work around dust, noise, cleaning products, wet floors, and active clubhouse events while following required safety procedures.

Schedule and Availability

This is a part-time weekend position. Regular availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required. The custodian must be able to adjust start or end times when weekend events require additional setup, cleaning, or closing support. Occasional holiday availability may be requested with advance notice.
