As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established escalation procedures.
• Observe workplace conditions and report hazards, equipment issues, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
