Jacksonville, Florida Inpatient Psychiatry W-2 or 1099
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a PRN/Weekend Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for flexible weekend work, supplemental income, or a part-time commitment without a full-time schedule.
Position Highlights
  • PRN / Weekend coverage
  • W-2 or 1099 options available
  • Inpatient psychiatry
  • Adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Psychiatric consultations and evaluations

  • Supervision and collaboration with PMHNPs and other clinical staff

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric psychiatric patients
  • Conduct psychiatric consultations and follow-up evaluations
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapists, social workers, and other members of the treatment team
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to midlevel providers
  • Participate in discharge planning and coordination of ongoing care
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Requirements
Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active Florida medical license
  • DEA registration
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
