How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Deliver direct patient care through individualized recreational therapy treatment plans that improve patient engagement, emotional wellness, and functional recovery outcomes.
  • Assess patient needs and establish measurable recreational therapy goals aligned with clinical treatment plans, safety standards, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Evaluate patient progress and modify recreational therapy interventions to enhance clinical outcomes, quality improvement efforts, and overall treatment effectiveness.
  • Provide patients and families with community-based recreational therapy resources that promote ongoing wellness, recovery support, and successful transition planning.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Therapist specializing in Recreation preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
