Part-Time | Weekends & Holidays Required


Job Overview


We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our friendly and hardworking hotel team. This is a part-time position, and candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.


Room Attendants play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This position is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms, maintaining public areas, assisting with laundry duties, and ensuring that the hotel consistently meets established cleanliness and brand standards.


Job Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and maintaining guest rooms and assigned hotel areas in accordance with hotel standards and procedures. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, efficient, and committed to providing excellent guest service.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Clean, organize, and prepare guest rooms for new arrivals and existing guests.
  • Make beds and prepare bed and bath linens according to hotel standards.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other guest room areas.
  • Replace towels, amenities, and approved promotional materials.
  • Remove trash, soiled linens, and other waste and transport them to designated areas.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products, linens, towels, and guest amenities.
  • Keep housekeeping carts clean, fully stocked, and organized.
  • Follow proper cleaning methods, safety procedures, and hotel policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and pressing linens and towels as assigned.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, missing items, or other deficiencies to the appropriate housekeeping or engineering manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, public areas, service corridors, linen closets, and other assigned areas.
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet hotel cleanliness and brand standards.
  • Follow all hotel Lost and Found policies and procedures.
  • Respect guest privacy and hotel property at all times.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to guests and respond appropriately to guest requests.
  • Work cooperatively with housekeeping staff, management, and other hotel departments.
  • Complete assigned rooms and duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards.


Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide required employment documentation, including completion of Form I-9 and participation in E-Verify.
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be dependable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work professionally and respectfully with managers, coworkers, and hotel guests.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent level of energy and productivity throughout the shift.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.


Physical Requirements

The Room Attendant position requires physical activity throughout the work shift. Employees must be able to:

  • Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and stoop.
  • Push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly, as required by the position.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform cleaning tasks that require reaching, stretching, and working in confined spaces.
