Our mission is to provide efficient and reliable transportation solutions while maintaining a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and performance. As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role in supporting daily delivery operations, communicating with drivers, monitoring route progress, and helping ensure smooth logistics processes.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and safety-focused Part-Time Weekend Dispatcher to support our delivery operations. The Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring routes, communicating with drivers, assisting with daily transportation needs, and helping resolve issues that may come up during the shift.

This is an in-person, evening/weekend position scheduled Friday through Sunday. This is not strictly a desk position and may require standing, walking, moving throughout the facility, lifting packages, or assisting with delivery-related tasks when needed.

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

  • Schedule: Friday through Sunday evenings/weekends
  • Pay: Starting at $22.35+ per hour
  • Pay Frequency: Paid weekly
  • Bonus Potential: Eligible for bonus potential based on performance and operational needs
  • Benefits: This part-time position is not benefits-eligible
  • Retirement: 401(k)-eligible

Role Responsibilities

  • Monitor driver routes and delivery progress throughout the shift.
  • Communicate with drivers by phone, text, or company systems to provide updates, instructions, and support.
  • Assist with assigning drivers, vehicles, and route support as needed.
  • Track and help resolve delivery delays, route issues, vehicle concerns, and driver questions.
  • Maintain accurate records related to daily operations, route activity, driver communication, and incidents.
  • Support dispatch leadership with daily operational needs and schedule adjustments.
  • Help ensure routes are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and transportation-related requirements.
  • Work closely with drivers, dispatch, and operations leadership to support team performance.
  • Assist with package handling, station movement, or delivery-related tasks when needed.
  • Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented, and safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous dispatching, logistics, transportation, delivery, or operations experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when tracking information and maintaining records.
  • Comfortable using phones, computers, GPS systems, messaging platforms, and other technology.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Safety-focused and able to follow company policies and transportation procedures.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be able to move packages up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be available to work Friday through Sunday evenings/weekends.
  • Must be able to work in person at our Louisville, KY location.
