Nurse (RN / LPN) – Assisted Living amp; Skilled Nursing (3rd Shift)

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our overnight team. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Position Details

Shift Hours: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Full-Time Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday in Assisted Living
  • Every other weekend in Skilled Nursing

  • Every other weekend
  • 3rd Shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
Position Summary

In this role, you will provide overnight clinical oversight, support care staff, monitor resident wellbeing, and help ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the night. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative and supportive nursing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care and clinical oversight during overnight hours
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond appropriately
  • Document care accurately and communicate updates to incoming shifts
  • Respond to resident needs, incidents, and emergencies
  • Collaborate with Med Techs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Support infection prevention and safety standards
  • Help maintain a calm, comfortable environment for residents overnight
Qualifications
  • Current North Carolina RN or LPN license
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
