These jobs often offer flexible hours and are common in industries like retail, customer service, administration, and education. They are ideal for individuals looking to balance work with personal commitments, such as students, parents, or retirees. Hours and schedules vary by employer, so it's important to check specific job postings for details.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Part Time Weekday position, and why are they important?

Familiarity with job-specific tools such as point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, or computer applications may be important depending on the industry. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team help individuals excel in this role. These skills ensure that part-time weekday employees can efficiently perform their duties, offer flexibility to employers, and maintain a positive work environment.

Job description

Location: Victorville, CA

Schedule: Part Time (Weekdays)

Compensation: $900 per diem

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Audiologist (AuD) to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Victorville, CA.

This is a clinic-based role where you'll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

If you're looking for meaningful, mission-driven work with schedule consistency — without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice — this opportunity offers flexibility and professional support.

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model.

  • Clinic staff are on-site full time
    • Organized scheduling and patient flow
    • Coordinated, team-based care environment
    • Value-based model focused on seniors

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality hearing care.

What You'll Do

  • Perform comprehensive audiometric evaluations and hearing assessments
    • Diagnose and manage hearing-related conditions within your scope of practice
    • Fit and program hearing aids as appropriate
    • Provide patient education on hearing health and device use
    • Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team

What Makes This Different

This is not a high-volume retail model.

Our audiologists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location.

We emphasize:

  • Quality over volume
    • Consistency and predictability
    • Administrative and logistical support
    • Long-term clinic partnerships
    • Ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree
    • Active California audiology license & dispensing license
    • Experience treating senior populations preferred
    • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
    • Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Schedule

  • Part-Time (flexible)
    • Typical hours: 8:30am- 4:30pm
    • No nights
    • No weekends
    • No billing or administrative responsibilities

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family-founded healthcare organization with over 25 years of experience increasing access to care for senior and underserved communities across 20+ states.
