The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami is accepting applications for a Part-Time Lecturer Position for the Choral Studies program within the Vocal Performance Department (Classical). The Frost School of Music has been an accredited institutional member of The National Association of Schools of Music since 1939. This position is primarily responsible for teaching graduate-level applied lessons in Choral Conducting, Choral Literature I & II, and assisting with Frost Chamber Singers, graduate recital choir. Other duties may include undergraduate and graduate-level courses as assigned by the Department Chair.
Master's degree required in Choral Conducting or related field. A Doctorate degree is preferred. Prior experience teaching at the collegiate level is also preferred. A demonstrated record of exceptional teaching is required.
