Job Title:                    Part-Time Editorial Content Specialist
Department:              Digital Media
Reports To:                Digital Operations Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Seattle Seahawks are seeking a Part-Time Editorial Content Specialist to assist with the publishing, curation and organization of the team’s catalog of digital content. The responsibilities for this role will include publishing various types of content (articles, videos, photo galleries) to Seahawks.com and the Seahawks Mobile App, as well as providing support on various other platforms and channels as assigned.
This candidate must have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to maintain multiple projects concurrently. This candidate should have a background in either content creation or data entry and a proven track record of success in previous roles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Load and publish a variety of content (articles, photo galleries, videos, live streams, etc.) to Seahawks.com and the Seahawks Mobile App using a content management system
  • Apply appropriate metadata to social media posts, website content, emails and other outbound communications to enable campaign recaps, analysis, etc.
  • Manage various tasks for home/away games, including during weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Assist Digital Operations Coordinator in the creation and distribution of performance reports to be used internally and externally
  • Operate EVS machine during Seahawks home games, distributing clips to all necessary parties in a timely manner
  • Contribute content ideas during weekly content ideation meetings
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking of key organizational KPIs, sharing with the larger group, when appropriate
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from multiple departments within the organization to achieve key business objectives
  • Assist in trafficking and tracking of banner ads on Seahawks.com
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a social media role
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of the game of football
  • Basic photo and video editing experience (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and thrive in the 24/7 NFL news cycle, handling multiple tasks at once with great attention to detail
  • Thrive in a team setting where working and interacting with others is essential for content creation
  • Interest and experience in the sports and entertainment industry is a plus
  • Must be able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, early mornings and holidays
  • This position will work up to 30 hours per week on average
COMPENSATION
The hourly rate for this position is: $25.20
