This part-time position will teach beginning and intermediate courses in UI/UX design, motion graphics, and responsive web design. The ideal candidate will guide students through user-centered design processes for digital platforms, and mobile-first web development

Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any Bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the faculty's teaching assignment OR Any Associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. Working Conditions: Salary Range: $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 - $1380.60 per lab unit rate Open Date: 04/08/2026 Close Date: 04/07/2027 Special Instructions Summary: SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS SUMMARY This recruitment will remain active for a period of one year, from the position opening date. If there is no longer a need to fill, the position may be closed sooner, and applicants will be notified. This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis
