Part Time Visual Observers often face challenges such as maintaining focus during long periods of observation, adapting to changing weather conditions, and effectively communicating with drone pilots or other team members. Staying vigilant and proactive ensures safety and compliance, which are key aspects of the role.

What is a Part Time Visual Observer?

A Part Time Visual Observer is a professional who assists with drone or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations by maintaining visual contact with the aircraft during flights. This position is typically part-time, making it suitable for individuals seeking flexible work hours. Visual Observers are crucial in supporting compliance with aviation regulations and ensuring safe flight operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Visual Observer, and why are they important?
