Job description

About the Role
$96 per hour | Two or three 8-hour shifts per week | Set weekly schedule | Mileage reimbursed
Tia is hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care and women's health services across our Los Angeles clinics.
This role offers a consistent schedule of two or three shifts per week. Mondays are required, with the remaining shifts scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. Your workdays will remain consistent, while your assigned clinic may vary based on patient and coverage needs.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced outpatient clinician who enjoys variety, works confidently and independently, and wants to care for women across different life stages without committing to a traditional five-day schedule.
You will primarily provide patient care at one assigned clinic each day. Tia reimburses mileage to and from clinic assignments.
About Tia
Tia is building a new model for women's healthcare, one that treats women as whole people rather than as separate conditions or life stages.
By integrating primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness across in-person and virtual settings, Tia is creating a more coordinated experience for patients and providers.
What You'll Do
  • Provide preventive and problem-based primary care, including annual wellness visits, acute concerns, health screenings, and management of common chronic conditions
  • Provide routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare, including Pap smears, contraception counseling, STI screening, and evaluation of urinary and vaginal symptoms
  • Evaluate common concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, cough, sore throat, abdominal pain, and basic dermatologic conditions
  • Perform IUD insertions and other procedures within your training, licensure, credentialing, and Tia's clinical scope
  • Review test results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up
  • Adapt to different clinic teams while maintaining consistent clinical, documentation, and patient experience standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and clinic operations
  • Provide occasional inbox or clinical team support when you are not scheduled for patient visits
Why Join Tia
  • $96 per hour
  • A consistent part-time schedule of two or three shifts per week
  • Mileage reimbursement to and from clinic assignments
  • AI-supported documentation designed to reduce charting burden
  • Medical malpractice coverage
  • Reimbursement for required licenses, board certification, BLS certification, and DEA registration
  • Complimentary UpToDate subscription
  • Monthly clinical training and internal educational resources
  • Paid sick leave
  • Paid vacation and CME reimbursement for clinicians working three shifts per week
  • The opportunity to work within an integrated women's healthcare model
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Active California NP or PA license
  • Current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA
  • Active DEA registration
  • 3+ years of independent outpatient primary care experience
  • Experience providing primary care and routine gynecologic or reproductive healthcare
  • Experience managing common acute and chronic outpatient conditions
  • Ability to perform IUD insertions
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly across multiple clinic environments
  • Commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care
  • Comfort using EHRs and technology-supported clinical workflows
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing Nexplanon insertions or colposcopies
  • Experience providing LGBTQ+ inclusive and gender-affirming care
  • Experience managing anxiety and depression in an outpatient primary care setting
  • Experience serving diverse patient populations
Schedule and Work Location
This is a part-time role with a set schedule of either two or three 8-hour shifts per week.
Mondays are required. Remaining shifts may be scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays.
The role provides coverage across Tia's Los Angeles clinics:
  • Pasadena
  • Silver Lake
  • Studio City
  • West Hollywood
  • Culver City
  • Playa Vista

Clinic assignments are based on patient volume and coverage needs and may vary by shift. Assignments are typically communicated the night before or the morning of the scheduled shift.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role is $96 per hour.
Estimated annual compensation based on the selected schedule is:
  • Two shifts per week: approximately $79,872 annually
  • Three shifts per week: approximately $119,808 annually

Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation and eligibility for particular benefits will be determined based on scheduled hours and applicable plan terms.
