Job description

The Tour Guide drives visitors in the "Pear" tour bus from the Harry & David Country Village to the manufacturing plant. This position conducts a walking tour through the Harry & David bakery and candy kitchen and production areas in a safe manner, while providing the history and fun facts and figures about the company.
  • Enthusiastically greets visitors and provides them with a positive tour experience.
  • Answers visitors' questions with detail and poise.
  • Monitors and leads groups safely through the premises with knowledge of all fire exits, elevators, benches and restroom facilities.
  • Assists visitors enter and exit the tour bus with special attention to children, elderly and disabled guests.
  • Monitors area and communicates with visitors to ensure their safety.
  • Shuttle driver for Special Events and Meetings as needed.
  • Provides VIP tours, if needed.

Licenses and Certificates:
  • Oregon Driver License

Special Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
  • Must possess a good driving record.
  • This is a safety sensitive position subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
