Job Description:
Marketing Communications Specialist
Provides support to the Director of Marketing/Communications in regards to all internal and external communication at Bay Area Hospital.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
  • Exercises good judgement, demonstrates effective critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using appropriate levels of the English language to effectively communicate with target audiences
  • Excellent copy editing, proofreading, and writing skills, with adherence to style and brand guidelines
  • Capacity to manage and produce multiple content projects within deadlines.
  • Expertise with online platforms: e-newsletter services, social media, and content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of DSLR camera, video, audio recording, microphones, and digital tools. Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS office applications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, digital media, communications, or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE
  • Experience assisting with communication programs for various external and internal target audiences
