In this role, you'll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here-use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.
As the Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for making key business decisions that will have a substantial impact on the company's brand image and revenues. The role is responsible for developing and managing multiple marketing assignments and to act as a leader and facilitator to build brand image and support revenue generation. Success will be measured by achieving the internal service-level agreement milestones and improving brand awareness through multiple channels in the market.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
  • This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week
  • Possesses professional knowledge and expertise in their specific function.
  • Assignments and projects are limited and straightforward in scope with minimal complexity.
  • Makes decisions with Leadership guidance.
  • Manage and coordinate all individual brand marketing initiatives and efforts including, but not limited to:
Content calendars Design tasks Email marketing Public relations Content development Social media Print & digital ad campaigns
  • Leverage internal design, public relations and content teams to complete projects & tasks in a timely manner
  • Become the primary liaison between individual brands and internal marketing teams
  • Regularly meet with brand property managers to identify how marketing can have a positive effect on goals
  • Monitor performance and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders
  • Ensure we are delivering effective and consistent content voice across all assets
  • Continually update and maintain databases of past guests
  • Planning and execution of all brand organic and paid social media content
  • Assist with gathering content and photos for each brand when needed
  • Manage photo and video shoots
  • Effectively manage marketing plans & budgeted items
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience and/or Training
  • Previous coordination experience; strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Effective project management with a sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

Technology/Equipment
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in social media technology and scheduling tools (Hey Orca)
  • Previous history with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp)
  • Previous experience with (Wix) website editing
