Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Part-Time / PRN

Compensation: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time, PRN
Schedule: Flexible, part-time
Location: North Atlanta & surrounding areas

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality wound care services—including wound VAC management—to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, dependable, and able to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team.

Responsibilities

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
  • Diagnose and establish individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
  • Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Assist the Director of Nursing as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous nursing experience required
  • Strong Wound Care skills, including wound VAC management
