Job description

Are you looking to join a team that encourages purpose over profit? ROAD iD is hiring a part-time Shipper to support our highly efficient and collaborative Fulfillment Team. This role is perfect for anyone seeking the chance to make a difference AND enjoy work/life balance. As a Shipper, you’d work weekday shifts on a part-time basis. Regular shifts fall weekdays from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. There could be slight time adjustments based on volume and work efficiencies.

Job dutiess would include:

  • Pull, pack, and ship customer items.
  • Assist with the organization of the warehouse and products.
  • Help monitor all third party channels to make sure all shipments go out on time.
  • Review Fulfil sales exceptions, failed orders, and draft orders daily.
  • Help investigate issues, document notes in order timelines, and assist with the escalation of unresolved items via Asana tickets.
  • Assist in resolving general order issues (cancellations, remakes, missing labels, expedited shipping requests), and monitoring Slack/Asana and customer service queues for problems.
  • Support the resolution of shipping exceptions in Fulfil, including failed pushes to Shopify, tracking updates, and channel-specific quirks (e.g., Chewy).
  • Assist in monitoring daily dashboard metrics (customer service holds, remakes, waiting orders, workstation issues, end of day manifest totals).
  • Help pepare and reconcile end-of-day shipping manifests (DHL, USPS, Chewy, UPS) against dashboard totals.
  • Embrace and contribute to ever evolving fulfillment processes.
  • Coordinate that all mail is in designated areas and picked up before shift’s end.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

You are self-motivated and self-directed. You’re someone others can rely on, with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration. In addition, you have (and will be able to demonstrate) the following job requirements:

    • Proficient with Google Workspace, and instant messaging platforms such as Slack. Experience with Asana, or other digital project management platform.
    • Previous experience working in Fulfillment, Shipping, Packing, and / or a Warehouse environment, including experience with fulfillment or shipping tools such as warehouse management systems, shipping label platforms, barcode scanners, and order management systems.
    • Experience working with third-party shipping channels or resolving carrier issues, such as tracking delays, shipment exceptions, or handoffs with external shipping partners, is a plus.
    • Experience with Shopify and Fulful tools are a plus.
    • Ability to stand and sit for extended time periods, regularly lift 5 pound items, and able to lift items up to 40 pounds on occasion.
    • Eligible to work in the United States.
