Peachtree Immediate Care is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. What You Will Do
As an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider, you will evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • 6 - 10 shifts per month
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries
  • Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
  • Ordering and independently interpreting diagnostic tests, including X-rays, laboratory work, and 12-lead EKGs
  • Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with Georgia regulations and clinic protocols
  • Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
  • Accurately and efficiently documenting patient encounters
  • Collaborating with clinical and operational team members to provide a convenient, caring, and high-quality patient experience
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C
  • Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
  • Ability to independently interpret X-rays and other diagnostic test results
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-service skills
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
  • Experience practicing in a fast-paced or high-volume clinical environment
