BPR Consulting Group (www.bpr-grp.com) is seeking an experienced and licensed Civil/Structural Engineer to join our growing company and serve our clients. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

The successful candidates must have experience and success in performing structural design and analysis for a wide range of building projects; reviewing and preparing plans and specifications for compliance with applicable codes and standards; coordinating engineering activities with other disciplines and departments; and preparing clear, comprehensive engineering reports. A strong knowledge of structural design principles and California Building Codes is essential to the success of the selected individuals.

Essential Duties:

Perform structural analysis and design of building systems in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Prepare, review, and stamp engineering plans, specifications, and calculations.

Coordinate design and plan review activities with architects, contractors, and other agency departments.

Provide technical guidance and code interpretations to clients, contractors, and staff.

Prepare clear and concise engineering reports, correspondence, and project documentation.

Assist with project management responsibilities, including scheduling, budgets, and client communications.

Ensure all work complies with BPR's and Clients' policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Provide services in an efficient, proactive, and client-focused manner.

Desired Qualifications:

Two (2) plus years of experience as a licensed civil or structural engineer working on building projects.

Strong knowledge of structural engineering design principles, building inspection, and construction processes.

Experience in the interpretation and application of California Building Codes and structural standards.

Proficiency with engineering software tools (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, AutoCAD, or similar).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Certification Requirements:

California Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) required.

Additional ICC certifications preferred but not required.

Compensation:

BPR Consulting Group offers competitive wages and a strong benefits package.
$45 - $70 an hour (depending on qualifications and experience).
