Position Highlights
  • Department: Hospital Access - Shoreline Medical Center
  • Hours: Part-Time/28 hours (This is a benefits eligible position).
  • Shift: 1st Shift, Days
  • Shift Details: 2 week rotating schedule (requires every other weekend)
  • Week 1 Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday and Friday 730am-4pm
  • Week 2 Schedule: Monday, Thursday and Saturday 730am-4pm

Position Summary:
Responsible for various patient-related access duties which include registering and processing patients to ensure Department and Hospital access and financial goals are achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient typing/keyboard skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Excellent communication skills (telephone, written, and inter-personal)
  • Flexibility of hours necessary to ensure department scheduling are met
  • Professional appearance
  • One year experience in a hospital or medical office including insurance and medical terminology
