Position Type

Locum Tenens – On-Site Only (No remote work)

Opportunity Highlights

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide on-site locum tenens coverage at our Midland facility. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for physicians interested in consistent, low-volume clinical work in a well-supported environment.

Coverage Details

  • Setting: Clinic only (no hospital rounds)

  • Responsibilities Include:

    • Inpatient and outpatient consultations

    • Follow-up and established patient visits

    • Evaluation & management, treatment oversight

    • Optional: Pluvicto administration (if comfortable)

Schedule

  • Days Needed: 2 days/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays preferred, flexible)

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Upcoming Weeks Needing Coverage:

    • September: 9/1, 9/22, 9/29

    • October: 10/6, 10/27

    • November: 11/3, 11/24

    • December: 12/1, 12/22, 12/29

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $400–$425

  • Orientation Pay:

    • $500 flat (≤ 4 hours)

    • $1,000 flat (> 4 hours)

Support & Technology

  • Clinical Support: No APP support

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Dictation: Dragon

Candidate Requirements

  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

  • Licensure: Active BLS (AHA); IMLC or pending licenses considered

  • Documentation: Recent case logs (within the last 3 months)

  • Language: English – Native or Bilingual Proficiency
