Job description

The Corner Twist is expanding, and we’re looking for a dependable, outgoing, and detail-oriented team member to join our growing pretzel operation. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to learn and grow with a small business.

Position Overview

This is a part-time role involving pretzel production, baking, cleaning, customer service, and occasional food truck or catering shifts. Work hours and responsibilities will vary based on business needs, and the role has the potential to evolve into full-time employment.

You will report directly to the owner and help maintain the high quality and consistency The Corner Twist is known for.

Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Production & Baking

  • Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Mix, divide, portion, and prepare dough
  • Learn to roll, twist, lye-dip, bake, cool, and package pretzels
  • Follow recipes and production standards with precision and accuracy
  • Help refine menu items, workflow, and operational consistency

Customer Service

  • Work the register and process customer orders
  • Speak confidently and professionally with customers in person and by phone
  • Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere

Food Truck & Catering (as needed)

  • Assist with setup, service, and cleanup at events
  • Reheat, butter, salt, package, and serve pretzels
  • Represent the brand with enthusiasm and professionalism

General Duties

  • Maintain a clean store environment (sweeping, mopping, trash, outdoor areas)
  • Lift up to 50 lbs (flour, dough trays, equipment, etc.)
  • Pick up supplies from local stores or distributors (must have a reliable car)
  • Jump into any task needed to support smooth operations
